My Top 3 Products To Give Your Hair Added Volume!

Hello, and welcome to my first ever blog post! Today's post is going to be about big hair, which is something, unfortunately, I don't have naturally. Since I have long, thick hair.. it gets weighed down easily and lacked a bit of "oomph" which is very frustrating, as flat hair is not always the best look. It's taken me a long time to find products that actually work, don't leave my hair feeling horrible, and products that last the whole day! I've found a few products (that are affordable) that leave me with big voluminous hair that lasts throughout the day!

So the first product that I've found is from a favourite brand of mine.. BED HEAD by TIGI. I haven't come across a products of theirs that I have not liked.. so I thought I would give their Styleshots "epic volume" shampoo and conditioner a try!

I was a bit nervous to try these products at first because, as you probably know, they aren't the cheapest! (however, I did get both of these from feelunique.com for £26!) But I also didn't want to ruin my love for TIGI products. Thankfully, I was not let down! The shampoo cleans my hair effectively, and creates an amazing lather! And the conditioner leaves my hair silky smooth, whilst adding AMAZING volume at the same time!!
(Not to mention they smell so yummy, too) So, after I was done washing my hair, I towel dried it and then gave it a quick blow dry.. I started to get a bit worried because my hair started to feel a little sticky.. but once my hair was completely dry, they stickiness was totally gone! My hair felt clean, conditioned and had mega volume!! I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner, and will continue to use it until i can find something better! which may take a while..

On the bottle, TIGI describe the shampoo saying it will add "banging body" and a "fully clean feel".. which i 100% agree with! TIGI also explains that the shampoo is sulfate-free (bonus!) and helps hair to "define gravity" yayy!! The conditioner says that it gives a "lightweight finish" which it really does, my hair feels well conditioned but not weighed down! If you haven't tried these products and you really want voluptuous hair, then you really need to give them a go! :)

The next product that I've found to give my hair amazing volume is this Aussie "3 Minute Miracle Light Aussome Volume Deep Treatment Mousse" .. "For hair that wants to live it large!" It's a bit strange in the sense that it's like a normal hair mousse, but you use it on your wet hair (in the shower) and then rinse it out.. but it really does work!

What I really like about this mousse is that it adds a lot of moisture to my hair, as well as adding volume. It has Australian Sea Kelp Extract and is silicone free which helped add the volume!

Just like their deep conditioners, you massage the product into your hair and leave it in for 3 minutes, then rinse out! And your left with amazing volume! LOVE it :)

I bought this product from boots for £4.99

So last but not least is a hairspray. It's from Schwarzkopf, and it's called Silhouette, pure formula, invisible hold! I find it difficult to find a good hairspray that creates volume that isn't sticky! But this hairspray is an exception.. It has amazing hold, adds to the volume, isn't sticky, dries quickly, doesn't make my hair crispy, and it brushes out easily! It is an absolute favourite of mine, and I just had to add it into this blog post!

I bought this hairspray off feelunique.com when I was purchasing my shampoo & conditioner. It says on the tin that it is a "salon exclusive" hairspray, and was only £4.45 for a 500ml can! which as you can see from this picture below, it's huge. I will never go back to any other hairspray now that I have found this one, its too good!

This is the end result.. I have naturally wavy hair but added a few curls into it using my GHD straightener. For having long heavy hair, I think these 3 products have done a great job in giving me extra volume whilst maintaining that squeaky clean feel!

Thank you for reading, I hope this blog post will help you and your hair to define gravity!

lots of love - claire xx
